Kathleen Hougesen is a cello teacher and violin teacher at Adam’s Music. Kathleen is a graduate of California State University at Fullerton, where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music. She has performed in many of Southern California’s orchestras, like the Pasadena Symphony and the Santa Barbara Symphony. She has also been a featured soloist and chamber music performer in the Brand Library Concert series in Glendale, and the KUSC live radio broadcasts from the Bing Theater at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
Kathleen has also done film, television and record sessions in Hollywood. She has been a cello teacher and violin teacher for thirty years. Kathleen’s teachers include Edgar Lustgarten, Raphael Kramer and Ronald Leonard.
