Type: Beaugnier Stencil Alto Saxophone
Serial No.: #897A
Sold As Is
Vito Beaugnier saxophones are a rare find in good condition. Made in Mantes, France, Beaugnier produced high-quality instruments under many names. These include Leblanc, Noblet, and Vito. Although Vito is primarily known for their student instruments, this saxophone is great for players of any skill level. Musicians like this saxophone for its strong, punchy tone. The Vito Beaugnier has excellent projection and is particularly loud for an alto saxophone.
Based on the serial number, we believe that this is a French Beaugnier Stencil alto sax made in the early 1960s. The retro Vito logo on the side of the bell is consistent with that time period as well. There’s no mechanical damage, and the sax is very clean for its age. However, there is some scuffing on the bottom of the body. We’ve included a photo of the scuffed section. The pads are in good shape and the mechanisms feel responsive and snappy. This Vito Saxophone is ready to play right out of the box.
Whether you’re a true beginner or a seasoned professional, the Vito Beaugnier Stencil is an excellent option. Contact us for more information about the Vito alto saxophone.
