John Nevill is a young violinist with a reputation for passionate, spirited performance. John’s ability to connect with audiences carries over into his teaching style, giving his students the tools to express and explore. John’s unique approach to violin pedagogy encourages the use of experimentation with a focus on creative independence. John firmly believes in the importance of a musical education and the enrichment it provides.
John is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University
in Los Angeles, CA. He earned a B.A. in violin performance and composition. His musical education has led him around the world, playing in countries such as Germany, Mexico, Poland, and China. He is currently a student at UCLA’s Herb Alpert School of Music
, working towards a M.M. in violin performance. In his free time, John enjoys tutoring students in music theory, and exploring the dining scene of Los Angeles.
