Justin Drisdelle is a versatile freelance trumpet player, educator, and arranger/composer based in the Los Angeles area.

He has performed with ensembles such as the Santa Barbara Symphony, Modesto Symphony, and Marina Del Rey Symphony, as well as the Brent Fisher Big Band and Ron King Big Band. His collaborations also include performances with artists like La India, Tony Vega, Farzad Farzin, Brunella Torpoco, Adalberto Santiago, and Henry Fiol. Known for his range, Justin can be heard across Southern California performing in styles from orchestral music and jazz to salsa, rock, and pop.

As a dedicated educator, Justin teaches students of all levels, from beginners to advanced players. He has worked as a visiting artist at schools and after-school programs, sharing his passion for music and helping students develop strong technical and musical skills. In addition to his private teaching studio, Justin is now offering trumpet lessons at Adam’s Music in West Los Angeles, giving students a trusted local resource for high-quality instruction.

A native of Hartford, Connecticut, Justin earned degrees in Trumpet Performance and Economics from the University of Maryland, where he studied under Chris Gekker. After moving to California, he continued advanced studies with Adam Luftman, Principal Trumpet of the San Francisco Opera and Ballet, and Jon Lewis, a renowned Los Angeles studio trumpet player heard on over 1,000 film and television soundtracks.
