Type: Model 35 “Johnny Hodges” Alto Saxophone
Brand: Vito Leblanc
Serial No.: #2245A
This Vito LeBlanc “Johnny Hodges” alto saxophone is a rare find in good condition. These horns were designed in part by their namesake, Jazz legend Johnny Hodges, who partnered with Vito LeBlanc in the late 1960s. Fewer than 2,000 were ever produced. The unusual key mechanism and tone hole placement give the horn a sonorous tone that’s unique to the instrument.
This Vito Model 35 alto saxophone comes equipped with a “Semi-Rationale” key system. The lacquer on the body is 100% original. There’s no mechanical damage, but it needs a replacement neck cork and a thumb rest. It also may need some pad work. The sax comes with an SKB case, which is shown in the photos with the saxophone.
This saxophone is being sold as-is. Please Contact Adam’s Music for more information about this Vito Leblanc Model 35 “Johnny Hodges” alto saxophone.
