Type: Alto Saxophone
Brand: Buescher
Serial No.: #389795
Buescher instruments have been known for their craftsmanship, tone, and elegance since the company was founded in 1894. Their alto saxophones are popular among professional musicians and artists to this day. In 1963, Buescher was purchased by the French company Selmer, who are also known for their quality instruments. This Buescher Aristocrat Alto Sax was manufactured in 1964, one year after the company was purchased. In 1983, Selmer retired the Buescher brand name. No Buescher instruments have been made since then. This makes this saxophone one of the last examples of the craftsmanship that Buescher was famous for.
This saxophone is in good condition and has all the hallmarks of a classic Buescher saxophone. There are some blemishes in the finish, but the pads and keywork are in great shape. The instrument was recently serviced and is in good playing condition. The hard-shell carry case comes with the instrument and is an essential piece of Buescher history.
This is a rare find in great condition. Any musician or collector would be lucky to have this piece. Contact Adam’s Music for more information about this Buescher alto saxophone.
