Type: Cleveland 613 Alto Saxophone
Serial No.: #686121
King, now a subsidiary of Steinway Instruments, is a respected producer of saxophones and other musical instruments. When the company began manufacturing woodwinds for US military bands in 1908, its “King” brand was reserved for professional-grade instruments. Nowadays, this model is enjoyed by students and pros alike, who appreciate its punchy and defined mid-tones. This King Cleveland 613 is a sturdy saxophone with a great sound. It’s hard to find them in good condition at a reasonable price.
This instrument is in very good condition both mechanically and cosmetically. We believe this sax was made in 1975 based on its serial number. Its keywork and mechanisms have been well maintained. The saxophone sports attractive nickel-plated keys and a well-kept gold lacquer body. The pads are in good condition, and there is little cosmetic wear aside from some scratch marks at its bottom. We have posted a photo of the scuffed area below. The original instrument case is also included with this King Cleveland 613 alto saxophone.
